Mobile Scenario Presenter (MSP)
The Mobile Scenario Presenter (MSP) is a Requirement Engineering tool. It was developed at the Institute for System Engineering and Automation (SEA) at the Johannes Kepler University Linz. It combines a Webapplication with a mobile rich client application for pocket pc. The rich client can be extended with plugins. Both, the webapplication and the rich client are written in .NET .

21.10.2009 Diplom-Ingenieur / Master of Science
I've finished my Informatics master curriculum at Johannes Kepler University in Linz. My final presentation is online.
7.6.2009 Masterthesis finished
I've finished my master thesis on mobile requirements elicitation for service oriented system. You may download my work (german) here.
29.3.2009 Seekda Integration
Seekda is a public service repository with web based and api enabled query. Seekda holds lot of services and uses tags to categorize services. The MSP/L integrates Seekda for service discovery. The video demonstrates what services are found for a "person" tag.

15.8.2008 UDDI Version
I'm using UDDI instead of EDDiE as Service Repository. My demo repository is filled with different services from different domains and annotated with tModel Elements. The UDDI Service Locator searches for Services that fit a certain tModel combination. Say an event is annotated with the tModel "Travelling" the Service Locator finds Services that belong to travelling. I've made a [ video ] !
1.7.2008 EDDiE is out !
I'm sorry to announce that EDDiE is out of the game. Although EDDiE is used in UCaRE and can process natural language queries, it is not designed to return real service address. But inspecting the proposed services is a mission critical task in my diploma thesis. Therefore I'll use UDDI as service registry.
30.6.2008 Presensation slides
Slides from last meeting. Including motivation for szenario based requirements engineering, mobile requirements engineering, benefits from service oriented requirements engineering and complete system architecutre. I've made a flash demo to present the complete walkthrough on the mobile device.
14.4.2008 Presentation slides
Presentation slides from the second meetings are online. Including the Integration with ART-Scene and a context database. Current topic is the integration with EDDiE service discovery engine. I've made flash demo to show the current status.
29.1.2008 EDDiE Webservice
EDDiE got a Webservice interface. It is possible to call the service with a query from a mobile device. I've implemented a simple proof-of-concept prototype.

8.1.2007 Plugin Prototype
The plugin prototype is finished. The MSL plugin supports service location, inspection and method calls for SOAP/XML web services. The video demonstration is available here.
1.11.2007 Content
- Analyst Use Case
The Analyst uses the Mobile Scenario Presenter to browser use cases and define requirements. The Mobile Service Locator Plugin finds appropriate Webservices for an Use Case. It provides an easy to use frontend to evaluate the Webservice.
-
Plugin Implemenation
Here you find the Class Diagram of the Mobile Service Locator Plugin. The MSL Plugin is written in C# with .NET Framework 2.0 and designed to run on a Pocket PC. The class library is the core component of the plugin.
- Presentation Slides
I've created a few slides that explain the Mobile Service Locator and its integration in the Mobile Scenario Presenter. The slides are part of the master seminar for computer science.
